It started with a song....

Jessica and Aaron met in Perry Meridian High School's show choir called Then N' Now. They casually knew one another for three years until they began spending more time together during musical rehearsals for Guys N' Dolls. Aaron played Benny Southstreet and Jessica was a featured dancer.

After high school, they were unsure about the future of the relationship but still were crazy about each other! After spending a week long vacation with Jessica's family in Florida, they knew they had something special.

Later that summer, Jessica headed to Spain for a six week trip and then shortly headed off to Xavier University in Cincinnati to study Spanish. Aaron attended school at IUPUI to study business. After taking a course in Economics, Jessica wanted to pursue business further and decided to transfer to Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. At that time, Aaron was ready to explore life beyond Indianapolis, and he also transferred. Perfect.

While at IU, the entrepreneurial bug bit Jessica and Aaron, and they founded Prodigy Staffing Solutions-a temporary staffing company specializing in the food service and hospitality industry. This business provided a lot of life lessons, taught them how to work effectively together, and how to manage money. It took them to the Indianapolis Motorspeedway to serve Indiana's mayors, to the Indiana Convention Center, and to dozens of weddings.

With graduation looming, Aaron knew he wanted to propose to Jessica soon. Jessica had an inkling that Aaron would propose sometime after graduation--she just didn't realize how soon! Aaron proposed the day after graduation! Knowing how important Jessica's family is to her, Aaron invited all of their friends and family to a local park for the proposal. While Aaron got down on one knee, everyone waited and watched from inside a house located on the grounds of the park. After she tearfully said yes, Aaron led her up the path towards the house where a surprise engagement party was waiting!

After being together for more than 5 years, Aaron and Jessica are looking forward to starting their lives together as husband and wife. The two are so excited to see all of their friends and family again together at the wedding!

More about the Bride and Groom
They love volunteering with Indy Feral and Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside (FIDO), two animal welfare organizations in Indianapolis. They've been helping extensively with FIDO's pet food pantry and with Indy Feral's spay days. Going to the dog park with their dog Angel is also another favorite activity to do together, and of course, rolling the windows down for Angel on the way to the park is a must!

They enjoy growing their own vegetables, cooking vegetarian food, going to see plays and musicals, riding bikes together, and penny pinching.

Jessica loves to read, sew, and take pictures. Also top on her list of favorite things to do are spending time with her family and her future in-laws. She works as an underwriter for One America's Employee Benefits division and buys an excessive amount of yogurt and bagels to take for her lunches. One of her favorite things about her future husband is his fantastic sense of humor.

Aaron is a fan of motorsports, graphic design, DIY projects and is still self-employed. He loves his 1984 Corvette, and he would jump at the opportunity to get a Dodge Viper. Aaron buys an excessive amount of thai peanut flavored ramen noodles for his lunch and believes that anything is better when smothered in nacho cheese. One of his favorite things about his future wife is her compassion towards animals.
